After gathering various ideas for new features from our customer inquiries and feature request page—and working day and night—we’ve finally released a feature many of you have been waiting for: “Quota Settings”!

Perhaps the name sounds a bit unfamiliar. That’s why we’ve put this explanation together! Let us walk you through “Quota Settings.”

What is a quota?
A quota is a term referring to a limited amount of a given resource, service, or goal. In English, it’s “Quota.” We named our feature “Quota Settings” because it automatically closes an option once it reaches a set number of people. Now, you don’t have to keep an eye on every single response—Walla will automatically stop collecting responses once the specified limit has been reached.

How can you use “Quota Settings”?
  1. Course Sign-Ups
The most common use of a quota is for course sign-ups, much like university course registration. You can set different maximum response limits for each option, making it easy to manage classes with different capacities.

  2. Event Registration
Besides courses, you can also use “Quota Settings” for events or gatherings with limited participant slots.

  3. Product Sales
If you’re selling products in limited quantities, you’ll also find “Quota Settings” extremely helpful. You can easily manage product sales through Walla.

Let’s Set Up a Quota in Your Form!

Go to the “Options” section of your project’s edit page to configure a quota. Simply set the maximum number of responses for each option, save, and then publish. That’s all there is to it!

Just like with “Quota Settings,” you can propose any new feature you think Walla needs via our feature request page.
